Teach English Online with the Gustave Flaubert Institute

Afternoon Shift (K-12 Classes)

12:00 PM – 5:00 PM Istanbul time. You may choose to start at 10:00 or 11:00 AM, and finish at 5:00 PM or 5:30 PM, according to your preference.

Each class lasts 25 minutes.
There is a 5-minute break between each class.
After every 2 hours of teaching, you can take a 30-minute break.
Students are children from China, aged 4 to 15, with different English levels.
Important: This is NOT private one-on-one tutoring like other online platforms. These are classes with our K-12 partner schools that are part of the Gustave Flaubert Institute.

Pay range: $2 to $4 USD per 25-minute class. An exceptional rate can be given if you have special skills and a native accent — it can go well beyond $4.

Evening Shift (Adult Students)

Teach Business English or General English to adult students, in groups or one-on-one.

Rate: $9 to $10 USD per hour.
Flexible evening hours.

All teaching materials are provided in advance — you don't need to prepare your own.

Salary Payment Schedule

Salaries are paid on the 15th of every month for the previous month's work (for example, August salary is paid on September 15th). This schedule is set in the interest of the Institute and the security of its programs.

What You Need

A laptop and a stable internet connection
A clear, good English accent
Available between 12 PM and 5 PM Istanbul time
Native or near-native speakers can earn the highest rates
A short 30-second video showing you teaching (no student needed — just demonstrate how you teach)
